What's this all about?

"This Way Up" is a CD aimed at conveying the message of salvation in Jesus Christ through 14 original songs.

Why is the CD called This Way Up?

It's a phrase that is familiar and used in the everyday world. For Christians though, it has a deeper meaning. It's a reminder that the only way we can have a restored relationship with God is by putting our faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Where did the name saltlight productions come from?

The name is a challenge for us to live out each day in light of the gospel and to be focussed on sharing it with others. As it says in Matthew 5:13-16, "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Who is this CD aimed at?

It is for Christians to be reminded of the gospel and for non-Christians to be introduced to the good news of Jesus.

When was This Way Up be launched?

This Way Up was launched on November 8 at a special launch party. Check the Latest news for write-ups on the night and view photos from the launch in the Gallery.
