Vision of This Way UpEarly in 2002, our ears started ringing with as yet unwritten music - music that was truthful, real and challenging. The concept was a CD that would musically appeal to the secular world, where each song was unique in style and yet all centered on a message that would pack a punch: the message of the gospel.This Way Up would be: "an affordable CD that Christians could use to share the gospel with their friends using the familiar and appealing language of music." It's taken a while to put pen to paper, thought to action and music to manuscript, but what started as a tiny idea has sprouted into an ambitious project for us all at saltlight productions. Saltlight productions exists to clearly and faithfully proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this so that people are challenged to respond to its truth and come to personally know God. This Way Up is our first project, and we hope and pray that in all things, we work together in His name and for His glory. |
